Day 112: First Freelensing.
It's not a typo. I did not try to type freelancing. Freelensing is actually a technique where you take the lens off the camera body and flip it, so the front end is pointing to the camera and the lens bracket is pointing at the subject. It's a poor man's macro.
The lens was about 3 - 4 inches away from the quarter. Compared to the normal technique, the closest distance I can get with the same lens is about 18 inches. The depth of field was pretty thin; not to mention that no on camera metering available.
I will definitely will try it again.
