Busy Commute Traffic Home
It would take about 10 minutes longer for me to get home if I went home right at 5 o'clock. I usually stayed at work longer on purpose so I don't have to spend more time in traffic. The proximity to the mall doesn't help either.
Borrowed an Office and Made a Photo
Another hard work week done and a busy weekend awaits. I am still looking for a good rest this weekend. Before I left the office, I took several photos from one of the office.
Fall Festival Is in Session
Games, inflatables, and lots of candies were the options. Plenty young and adults had a good time. There was even a puppet show. It was one good way to celebrate the autumn and harvest season.
Some Wings in Common
A few cars with wing happened to park in the same section at the event. Two Nissans parked side by side. One is an older model and another is the new GT-R, both have wings; no Red Bull needed.
Falls Colors Are Coming
This week started colder but it became warmer as if summer had come back. I am not complaining. Besides that, the leaves have changed colors. We can't turn back time, so enjoy what we have now.
Phillips Avenue and 11th Street
Another excursion around the downtown area. I wasn't really motivated to make photos today but brought myself to go out anyway.
Sunset in Downtown Sioux Falls
I didn't have much time to make more photos this time. I took a few frames and had to go. It was unfortunate because there was an event going on behind me and it would make interesting photos.
Phillips Ave and 10th Street
Another scene from downtown. It's the other side of the parking building. I might go try to find a different vantage point on top of the other parking structures.
Main Ave and 10th Street
I went downtown to make photos. I don't spend a lot of time downtown but I think it's about to change.
Corvettes Line Up
Corvettes from various years parked in the spots in downtown.
The 50th Anniversary Corvette
Another Corvette from the Hot Summer Night event.
Bloodmobile at the Dealership
No, the bus was there not for sale or a traded in. Vern Eide's employees were donating blood. They were not only busy selling cars.
People Came to See Corvettes
There were Corvettes everywhere. Old, new, red, yellow, roadster, hard top, you named it, they were all there.
Classic 1958 Corvette
I thought 1962 was the oldest Corvette I could find. On the way back, I saw this classic historic specimen.
It's So Shiny
There were a lot of show quality Corvettes showed up in downtown Sioux Falls for the annual Hot Summer Night event.
It is for sale for $139,000; definitely out of my pocket change range. I still cannot afford it if it's $39,000. It is a beautiful car.
Can I Have More?
The nice weather days after some cold days are always appreciated. I am looking forward to more days like this.
Beyond Sunset at Outback
It was half way around the block from where I park. This reminded me that I haven't been back to Outback for awhile.
Busy Sunday Evening at the Movie Theater
After having supper by the movie theater, I walked around the block to make photos of some of the establishments in the area.
The Old Courthouse Museum
I went to an event across the street. On the way home, I took several shots at the museum. The sky was blue and clear. The evening was colder than it appeared.
Dowtown's First National Bank
Another photo from around kick-off time on Sunday. As you can see, there were not a lot of activities in downtown Sioux Falls.
It's Nice to See You, Sun
It was mostly a sunny day but it was cold, below freezing cold. I spent most of the day inside, developing and troubleshooting on several projects for work.
Cleared from Snow, For Now
This was the morning after the snowstorm. The snow had not stopped falling until late morning; it wasn't much more. It was probably another inch. Those snow piles were not largest pile. We had a couple of small hill size piles in front of our office.
