No Foliage, Just Blue Sky
It was a cold day today. The tendency was to stay home and do nothing. Obviously, that's not going to happen. Dig deep and squeeze out every drop of motivation in you. Winter is coming.
A Lot Happened in A Week
I went to the spot from a week prior. The scene had changed significantly. There was a lot less foliage left and significantly less green too.
I Can Use a Longer Lens
From my last outing, I realized a longer lens to get better wildlife photos. I can't just go to the park and expect to get good photos all the time.
The water was slowly toward the river. I had to be careful around the banks because the leaves made it hard to tell where the dry ground ends.
Stalking Some Mallard
I came back to the same park and took the path but walked the opposite direction. There was quite a few mallard in the park. My guess, it was still warm enough to migrate to the south. The park was filled with people, especially the butterfly house. It was a nice morning to be out until it started to rain.
When Yellow Overcomes Green
It was a wet and dreary week. We had either rain or cloud cover in most days. The weekend was a different story. It was sunny and there were barely any clouds.
The Path That Leads You Home
There are several paths you can take, depends on how far of a hike you want to do. We did almost 4 miles that day.
Got Too Close to the River
The river brings life to the ecosystem around it. But if you get too close, you might get swept away. It gives and takes away.
Wild Flowers by the Path
There were other similar flowers throughout the park
A Good Day at the State Park
It is something simple, a hike around the park. The weekend is here and there is nothing preventing me from being outside with this nice of a weather.
Spring in Black and White
The shape and texture of spring.
Nice Seeing Green
After seeing mostly white, brown, gray for awhile, green is definitely a nice change. I am celebrating the nice weather by being outside.
Young Foliage over the Blue Sky
After a quick game of disc golf, I took a stroll around the park. It was a good start for the week.
Beaver Creek Curve
The chaos in between; it's nature's way to find harmony.
Different Phase of Spring
Some blooms right away while others take its time to even turn over a new leaf.
Foliage Will Come
It was a contrast difference from last week's weather. It was a warm and breezy day. Spring will not be too far away. Looking forward to spending more time outside.
Nature is not perfect. That makes nature's beauty worth even more.
