Day 76: Swim Clinic.
I used Casio Exilim EX-FH20 (Amazon) and shot at 210 frames per second to record swimmers from three different point of views. The video clips were used to correct swimmer strokes for better swimmers' movement dynamics; the clips do show the swimmers for improvements opportunity. They realized somethings even before talking with the instructors. There were about 23 swimmers came this evening, and one of them was deaf. So, the instructors interacted with him through a signer.
I utilized only the existing lighting of the swimming pool, which was minimum. The ISO was pretty high and was set to auto to get the high frame rate. I understand now why many photographers and videographers out there who dislike fluorescent lights. Correcting the auto white balance of this photo was tricky and it took me awhile to get to this; it still looks off to me.
I took several pictures with my still camera while repacking the equipments. It was a fun experience. I get to know the instructors and swimmers and be able to shoot videos.
