Day 365: Carbon Sticks We Called Pencils The first day with a macro lens, so I was looking around for any subjects to shoot. So excited with the lens. I learned that it requires more light than what I usually familiar with. I definitely need a tripod to get better results. So, for the this week my photos probably mostly macros.

Day 364: Red Snow Shovel So far into the winter, we got fewer snowfall than last winter. The work week started with a warm day. No snow forecasted until Thursday.

Day 363: Sunday Evening at the Regional Outpouring Group of us went to the Sioux Falls Regiononal Outpouring event. We sang some worship songs and listen testimonies about God's works amongst us. The testimonies pointed out how important prayers are and how they demonstrate how much God loves everyone of us.

Day 362: It Was Nice But Still Too Cold to Sit Outside I ate lunch in down town area with a friend. It was nice day, but it was still around freezing, so it was still too cold to stay outside. Thank you for lunch, Joy.

Day 361: The Big Lebowski Fun I went out with a group of friends: had supper together and then a couple games of bowling. A fun way to start the weekend, in the Big Lebowski kind of way.

Day 360: Fly Me to the Moon I started to think about the photo for today late. I spent the morning at home and did not feel inspired to make photos around the house. I was occupied with some work until late afternoon; back at square one. I saw the blue sky, the moon, and the tree. While composing the shot, an airplane flew by and happened to be at the direction of the moon.

Day 359: Dark and Snowy Street I just got home from class; stopped by and grabbed some grocery items on the way back. It was passed 9 pm; naturally the neigborhood was pretty quiet and peaceful this time of day. Fog hovered for most of the day today, but it was warmer than the past few days.

Day 358: It's Not Too Cold, If You Dress Accordingly Two weeks ago, there were hardly any snow on the ground. This week I had to bundle up, so I could make the walk from the parking lot to the office. It's supposed to get warmer for the next couple of days. What I meant warmer is around freezing temperature.

Day 357: Worship and Music Brought Us Together Instead of the usual Bible Study, I had a worship practice for an event on Sunday evening. The group spent the evening running through the songs and catching up with each other. I had a blast.

Day 356: Wet and Messy Slush A different side of snow. It gets wet and messy after awhile; left us with less desired puddle of gooey, muddy mess of concoction that we might have to walk through. It is definitely the wrong timing to have your car washed. Jordon and I had our sushi and ice cream fix. A good combination to start off the week.

Day 355: Sometimes Backward Means Moving Forward It definitely looks and feel like winter now; snow everywhere and it is cold for sure. Snows cover everything, especially parking lots and side walks. So, as good neighbor, Jay cleaned up the sidewalks around the church. It might not look hard, but it was single digit temperature outside, the wind was blowing and there is no heated seat on that tractor either. Thank you, Jay!

Day 354: Fluffy Snow Treat By the end of the day, we probably got about 3 inches of snow on the ground. It was the fluffy kind. I woke up early to help with pushing the snow of the driveway and by the front door. My sister and I pushed a bit more again by late afternoon.

Day 353: White on Top and on the Bottom The cloud was hovering above and a layer of snow covered the ground. A cold day to stay outside, but it is part of winter. It is forecasted to snow more tomorrow. I wonder how early should I wake up tomorrow? Will there be an early work out for me tomorrow?

Day 352: Cocktail Time Before going home after class, a group of classmates and I stopped by Grille 26 to have something to eat and drink. The food was good and since it was after 9 pm, pizza and small plate items are half price: good price.

Day 351: Winter Is Back Winter took a longer vacation. We finally got significant snow fall in the middle of January. If I expect to see no snow this winter, I probably should choose a different state to reside in. I think winter is fun.

Day 350: Grilling in Winter There were hardly any snow on the ground, but it was a cold evening. I like to grill all year round, to the point that I would go outside with flip flop or barefoot to grill.

Day 349: Hibachi Volcano Jordon and I ate supper at the Tokyo Hibachi and Sushi restaurant. Originally we were going to eat some sushi but we decided to go for the hibachi instead. It was a fun meal.

Day 348: One Public Display of Affection, As Requested My first wedding shoot. I had to force myself to went out from my comfort zone and interact with people I made pictures with. We ended up having a good time and took home some good memories, both in our memory and my memory card. I met with few new people and had good conversations; awesome wedding party, great family. Congratulations, Michael and Joni!

Day 347: Just Before the Rehearsal It is my first wedding rehearsal as a photographer. Usually photographer does not go to the rehearsal, but I think it's important to let the client know that their wedding is important. I have the opportunity to get to know with some of the people involved with the event and to find out if there's any restriction at the church. I am looking forward to the wedding shoot tomorrow.

Day 346: In the Windy Cold Winter Night No significant snow in addition yesterday's accumulation, but it was definitely a cold day. The wind gust did not subside either. I'm looking forward to the wedding this weekend. I borrowed a strobe light pack to make sure I will have enough light for the family shoots.

Day 344: All Going to Change Soon Another nice day in Sioux Falls. The high was around 50 degrees today and it supposed to be 16 and snowy tomorrow.

Day 343: Salsbury Student Union Another relatively warm day in Sioux Falls. It was supper time at the cafeteria, so students were mostly inside.
