The Oasis Hotel
This is our hotel for the trip. It's really affordable. It was about $30 per night.
Go For A Swim
The first thing to do as soon as we arrived at the hotel was to the swimming pool. I did not have my swimming trunk, I couldn't go for a swim. The temperature and the humidity were high, so a swim would feel great.
Ground Floor Pool Access
We could open the sliding door and accessed the swimming pool from our room.
Kuta Beach Tease
My first look of Kuta beach, on our way to the event. The event was the reason for the trip and I was just tag a long for the ride. It took us 2 hours to get to the event. The traffic by Kuta beach was really bad.
Indonesia Design 10th Anniversary
The event was held by a domestic design magazine 10th anniversary. It was basically a mixer event for architecs, design professionals with an award ceremony for best designs in multiple categories.
Mozaic Beach Club
The event committee chose this beach club to held the party. The club faces the beach in Kerobokan, Bali. There is actually a beach in the background.
Lots of Conversations
It was a big social event. People mingled to create new relations or talked about previous projects together.
Trip Mates
Paulus and Krisna were invited to the party and I was just tagged a long and enjoyed the ride.
Quite A Crowd
People came to the party from all over Indonesia, but mainly from Jakarta and Surabaya.

Morning Offering
Bali is predominantly Hindu. It's the local tradition to give a daily offering in the morning.
Handayani Restaurant
One of the famous places to eat pork in Bali. It displays the whole barbecued pork in front. It is very delicious and spicy.
Garden on Top of the Mall
There's a mall across the street from Kuta beach, the Beachwalk mall. On top of the mall, there's a beautiful garden and next to the mall, there's a Sheraton hotel.
